18th Intertnational Contemporary Music Festival

About the festival in brief:
- A unique opening concert, featuring a variety of Lithuanian and foreign soloists, a world premiere in Lithuania, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Witold Lutosławski, and a constellation of National Prize winners;
- A musical alliance of Lithuanian and French authors and performers, Lithuanian and French modern classics and intriguing premieres;
- Meetings, disputes and musical bridges between artists and students: Lithuania – Estonia;
- Passages of visualised and pure music for voices, guitar and piano;
- Lithuanian contemporary music in the eyes of different generations: performing art and interpretation, an exhibition and comments on it, the young and the acknowledged;
- The atmosphere of shopping centre in the genre of Lithuanian contemporary opera;
- The links of Lithuanian folk songs with music instruments from around the world, video projections, string quartet and living composers;
- National premieres and a platform for foreign composers;
- Musica vera for symphony orchestra: from the Song to the Eternal Light.
