About the festival in brief:

 

  • A unique opening concert, featuring a variety of Lithuanian and foreign soloists, a world premiere in Lithuania, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Witold Lutosławski, and a constellation of National Prize winners;
  • A musical alliance of Lithuanian and French authors and performers, Lithuanian and French modern classics and intriguing premieres;
  • Meetings, disputes and musical bridges between artists and students: Lithuania – Estonia;
  • Passages of visualised and pure music for voices, guitar and piano;
  • Lithuanian contemporary music in the eyes of different generations: performing art and interpretation, an exhibition and comments on it, the young and the acknowledged;
  • The atmosphere of shopping centre in the genre of Lithuanian contemporary opera;
  • The links of Lithuanian folk songs with music instruments from around the world, video projections, string quartet and living composers;
  • National premieres and a platform for foreign composers;
  • Musica vera for symphony orchestra: from the Song to the Eternal Light.

Tickets are also distributed by the Tiketa and may be booked online at www.tiketa.lt and by short service number 1588 (Lt2/min per booking). Transaction fee of Lt3 applies per one ticket.
