Baltic Music Industry Conference

Vilnius, May 24/25, 2007
The Baltic Music Industry Conference 2007 is an initiative of the British Council and Music Export Lithuania with assistance from the Latvian Music Producer’s Association (LaMPA) and Music Export Estonia.

The conference this year will move to Vilnius, Lithuania, after two years in Riga, Latvia, to further cement its commitment to the whole Baltic region.

This is the only music event specifically designed to address the needs of the music industry in the Baltic, and offering a unique forum for music professionals in the region to come together with experts and peers from the UK and elsewhere.

This year’s event will feature expert speakers and panelists examining issues of key relevance for the region:

- Are labels dead? Who works for the artist today? Can I do it all on my own?
- Online marketing – getting heard in the digital supermarket
- Alive and kicking – the resurgence of live music and festivals and the importance to the music industry as a whole
- Selling “records” in the 21st century – old technology, new technology, successes and failures

- Connecting bands and brands – new revenue streams and promotion opportunities
- and more...
