Jazz Sampler "Free Spirits: Jazz from Lithuania" comprises 14 tracks drawn from the most recent jazz releases and introduces performances of the Vilnius Jazz Quartet and Neda, Dainius Pulauskas Group, Contra Jazz, Vytautas Labutis and Eugenijus Kanevičius, Valerijus Ramoška and the LRT Big Band, Linas Rimša, Liudas Mockūnas and Toxikum, GTCh Trio, Leonid Shinkarenko Jazz 6, Saulės kliošas, Artūras Anusauskas Quartet, Juozas Milašius (from the catalogues of Pūkas, Juosta Records, Lithuanian Radio, Kukū Records, Intervid).
The CD "The Singing Land: Contemporary Folk Music from Lithuania" featuring performances of Veronika Povilionienė and Petras Vyšniauskas, Skirmantas Sasnauskas and Algirdas Klova, Sutaras, Kūlgrinda, Donis, Atalyja, Trys keturiose, and others (from the catalogues of Dangus, Juosta Records, and Kukū Records), also offers samples of Lithuanian folk music, in its traditional and contemporary forms.
Pop/Rock/Dance Sampler offers tracks by Skamp, Laura & The Lovers, Colder, Inculto, Biplan, Merlin, Land, Taja, Amberlife, Made in April, Bitės, Tema, Overtone, RyRalio DJ's, Andrius Mamontovas, Cisco Kid, and Sadūnai - the musicians, promoted by their recording companies at the MIDEM.
The National Philharmonic Society of Lithuania presents a 12-track sampler of its distinguished groups (including: Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, Kaunas State Choir, Vilnius String Quartet, Čiurlionis String Quartet, and Musica humana) and soloists (singers Judita Leitaitė and Regina Maciūtė, violinist Vilhelmas Čepinskis, pianists Petras Geniušas, Muza Rubackytė, Rūta and Zbignevas Ibelhauptas) performing classical music repertoire. The CD is rounded off with two pieces by contemporary Lithuanian composers – Algirdas Martinaitis and Osvaldas Balakauskas. The sampler contains a sizeable booklet with brief descriptions and contacts of all the artists and festivals coordinated and co-organized by the NPSL.
