The Wild Idler duo is another act vividly demonstrating that today’s Lithuanian electronica is young, free, refined and radio-friendly. Wild Idler’s music is just what the name promises – lazy and laidback, their sound is nonetheless wildly vibrant and pulsating with the energy of summertime open-air pleasures. This did not go unnoticed in the country’s music community – Wild Idler have already crafted their own version of Lithuanian intelligent pop golden girl Jurga Šeduikytė and producer Virus J’s single and recorded a song together with popular vocalist Soliaris. It seems that things go well beyond Lithuania’s borders too, as Wild Idler have also supplied their remix for a track by the well-known British house act AtJazz. Their most recent local collaboration is a radio single with much-praised former Sheezanova vocalist Marla Singer. The latter had left the stage for a career in fashion photography a while ago, yet the fact that her voice can be heard through the speakers again probably means that Wild Idler sound too good to reject their offer.
