Music Export Lithuania has been started!


About Music Export Lithuania


Initiated in July 2006 to assist in promotion of the work of Lithuanian music creators, project Music Export Lithuania is supported by LATGA-A, Agency of Lithuanian Copyright Protection Association and is aiming to maintain close contacts with all relevant parties in the Lithuanian music industry. The project has been started within the non-profit organization Lithuanian Music Information and Publishing Centre and covers all types of music ranging from pop / rock / electronica, jazz, to contemporary classical music.


Music Export Lithuania

 

- represents Lithuanian music industry at the Midem and Popkomm music trade fairs by providing a stand for Lithuanian participants, in co-operation with Lithuanian music professionals organizes sales initiatives and showcases;

- develops funding and support schemes for Lithuanian music export;

- develops an extensive Lithuanian music website, as a gate to various musics in Lithuania (to be online since 2007);

- collects and distributes export-related information about the industry and opportunities to Lithuanian music professionals as well as keeps international music industry professionals up to date on new developments in the Lithuanian music industry;

- seeks actively co-promote products of Lithuanian music companies.
