Culture Jam – the music, arts and film festival that explores the Lithuanian experience in Britain – is returning for the fourth consecutive year, to London's vibrant East End.
Culture Jam 4 launches on Friday, 26th November at East London venue Cargo with a gig featuring two of the brightest stars on Lithuania's music scene: the MTV Europe Music Award winning pop-rock sensation Jurga and electronica trio Fusedmarc.
The singer Jurga is a young, talented, highly acclaimed successful singer from the Baltic region, who combines pop-rock, electronica, alternative and sometimes folk elements in her music.
Jurga has won all the possible awards in her home country: Best Debut, Best Song, Best Album, Best Female Artist, The Song of the Year, etc. She was also a winner at this year's MTV European Music Awards in Munich (Best Baltic Act) and received Baltic Song Festival's Grand Prix in Sweden in 2007.
Fusedmarc is undoubtedly one of the most interesting musical projects in Baltic States. Being among the initiative in Lithuanian alternative electronic scene, Fusedmarc is credited by many as the most talented, reflecting the best moods of alternative, electronic and audiovisual genres.
