Flamingo

Flamingo is a living proof that Lithuanian rock can be just as fresh-sounding and genre-bending as the true pearls of the global rock music scene like Radiohead. Taking cues from best acts in diverse styles like indie, progressive and alternative rock, but not copying them, the four-piece act is one of the few intriguing young bands (including Gravel and Axis) that constitute the refreshing new wave of Lithuanian rock. It is difficult to count Flamingo’s live shown at festivals, in clubs and on the radio, and it is certain that a free live recording (available from their website), Shutdown Baby maxi single and the video for this song will finally be followed by a long-awaited debut album.
